Frost/Nixon – World Premiere
London: 15 October 2008
Tonights event is right in the heart of the Square, at the Odeon and the occasion is doubly significant because its the 52nd BFI London Film Festivals opening night gala. Award tipped Frost Nixon is the film and as well as Sir David making a brief and fan-interaction-free appearance, we were pretty close to a real frost too as its so chill here again. I started my camp-out this morning at ten and as usual met fans from all over the world throughout the day. The festival really does bring people from everywhere. Jenn Gotzon who stars as Nixon’s daughter Tricia in the film brightened up the afternoon chatting with us and learning about how a premiere works in the Square from our point of view. That chat served well as later at the premiere, Jenn brought Frank Langella over to pose for us. The design of the fanspace tonight meant there was space and no pushing for a change. Until of course the great one came. Oscar winning director Ron Howard was happy to spend time posing and signing as were the films producer and writer. Great kick off to the festival.

Ron Howard – Director, Producer

Wow no wonder most actors/celebrities have such egos. Listen how the press treats them. Boosting them up, begging for pics. That can really make someone feel almost like-god
I’m so over the moon i have his autograph
I didn’t see keeley hawes in there, was she?x
I notice that anything to do with this topics nobody even, tho i put in the search engine david frost nobody mentions his name, there for it must be all americans spouting about there presidents on the new firm FROSTnixon, always the same an inbread country that only talks about there own.
Well I was really impressed! This film is captivating. Frank Langella give the performance of his life you literally cannot take your eyes off him.
how pretentious….YAWN.
Michael Sheen is great!I’m from Orange, and we interviewed him on the Red Carpet at the BAFTA’s last weekend! Search for bafta 2009 michael sheen interview with Fearne Cotton to find it!
