It’s been quiet for a while since there’s been an event, giving me a chance to catch up on my admin tasks, but it’s time to get back in the saddle dear viewer. This Sunday brought a couple of interesting events, the Magamind Gala screening (see film on my channel) and this one, the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards with plenty of celebs to see. A ten minute walk from my base got me there before 3pm for 6pm arrivals. There were four of us there at the back entrance of The Savoy, one side of the barrier was for paps the other side for fans. We entertained ourselves, chatting and catching up in the freezing cold to pass a couple of hours by then more people came to join us. By 6pm, celebs started to arrive on and were happy to sign and pose. We missed few big stars like Liam Neeson and Sir Ian MacKellen as they arrived through the front entrance. As most were in and the event was about to start, some of the fans went to London Hilton for the EA British Academy Children’s Awards. I decided to go home as my sister channel is covering it (see event on lsq.tv). The thought of coming back before midnight to catch the ones I’ve missed did cross my mind but the bitter cold weather kept me home in the warm to edit.
